ASSESSMENT AND PROMOTION RULES
- ✔ 100% attendance is mandatory for all assessments. Failing to attend will result in a zero unless there are genuine medical grounds, at the sole discretion of the Principal, with proper medical documents submitted on the day of the exam at the school office. No student is allowed to leave after completing the exam, even for medical reasons.
- ✔ Attendance record of a minimum of 90% in each term is compulsory. Any exception will be at the sole discretion of the school. Absence beyond 20% of the working days, even on medical grounds, is not accepted.
- ✔ There is no provision for reassessing students who are absent on the day of the assessment or failed in one or more subjects. Requests for changing the date or time of assessments will not be entertained.
- ✔ No extra time will be provided to students who report late for the assessments.
- ✔ Unfair Means: Students found using any unfair means during assessments will be given a zero for that subject. Both parents and the concerned student will be summoned to explain. A repeat of such behavior will result in a Transfer Certificate without notice.
- ✔ Weekly assessment answer scripts will be distributed one week after evaluation. Students are expected to report any mistakes or discrepancies (like unmarked answers) on the same day. Any delay may lead to ignoring the issue when preparing the final result.
- ✔ Requests for progress reports before the declaration of results will not be entertained.
- ✔ A duplicate report card (if lost or damaged) can be issued for a fee of Rs.500/-.
Promotion Criteria
- ✔ Classes Nursery – X : Students with attendance less than 90% and those unable to cope with the syllabus, resulting in low grades, may face detention in the same class after mutual consent from parents and school authorities.
